"And nobody felt sad as long as we could postpone tomorrow with more nostalgia."
Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (via larmoyante)
"But it’s like when my doctor told me the story of these two brothers whose dad was a bad alcoholic. One brother grew up to be a successful carpenter who never drank. The other brother ended up being a drinker as bad as his dad was. When they asked the first brother why he didn’t drink, he said that after he saw what it did to his father, he could never bring himself to even try it. When they asked the other brother, he said that he guessed he learned how to drink on his father’s knee. So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons."
Charlie, “Perks of Being A Wallflower”
Thus, the logic of the feminist argument to “Teach men not to rape” is revealed.
Yes because it’s such a radical notion to expect rapists to control themselves.
This analogy is terrible because
- When someone reports a robbery and the police come, they don’t find out the home owner’s door was left unlocked and decide a crime didn’t take place or imply that the home owner was literally asking to be robbed. They still treat it like a crime and search for the guilty part regardless of the actions of the homeowners.
- The percentage of the general population that commits home invasion and burglary is FAR lower than the percentage of people who commit rape, and studies show the vast majority of people who commit rape don’t consider it rape. (A coerced or unconscious person is seen as consenting for example).
- Educating people on the concept of consent and how to respect bodily autonomy is not some huge overask, it’s like a very basic thing that would take very little time and impact the world in huge ways.
- HOUSES ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS, AND HAVING SOME BELONGINGS STOLEN IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AND HAVE YOUR BODILY AUTONOMY VIOLATED.

Aaahh i love you soo much!! 😍 Thank you for asking 😘
Favorite Male: Tie between Cinna and Finnick Odair
Favorite Female: Katniss
Favorite Pairing: Hayfie ^.^ Not as a romantic couple maybe but they’re just so cute together!
Least Favorite Character: idk probably Enobaria or something. Or President Coin. In the books i also didn’t like Johanna but she was portrayed really good in the movie.
who’s most like me: Katniss. She’s not very good at making friends sometimes but she has her moments. Also sometimes she doesn’t get/understand plans but sometimes she can think really quickly. And she doesn’t always have the right words but she can definitely speak up when she feels she needs to, and she wants to protect the people she loves. She’s also willing to die for or at least fight very hard for what she believes in. That’s why i think she’s like me.
most attractive: i reallyy don’t knoww:( I guess Foxface is pretty cute:3
three more characters that I like: Wiress, Beete and Effie Trinkett
Disney Villain Songs
the biggest disappointment with Hans is his villain song is “love is an Open Door”
I honestly don’t consider that a villain song.
I would have adored if there was a dark, eery reprise of Love Is An Open Door.
*eerie voice* i mean it’s crazy we finish each others sandwiches
*sarcastically and sinisterly*
"Love is an open door
Your life could’ve been so much more”
